Sadio Mane scored a goal for Liverpool in the first half while Semi Ajayi scored a late equaliser for West Brom in the second half.
Liverpool is leading the EPL table with 32 points while West Brom is second last with 8 points.
In other matches, Leeds United beat Burnley 1-0 while West Ham and Brighton drew 2 all.
