Lautoka and Malampa finish OFC Champions League with a 1-all draw

The Vodafone Lautoka soccer team has drawn 1-1 with Malampa Revivors in their first match of the OFC Champions League in Vanuatu this afternoon.

Malampa Revivors scored first to take a 1-0 lead.

Lautoka’s New Zealand import Jack Caunter equalised just before half-time through a penalty kick.

Malampa Revivors had a player sent off in the first half.

The 10 men Malampa team had an excellent chance to win the match in the second half however, Azariah Soromon missed a penalty.

Lautoka will play their second match against Papua New Guinea Team Lae City Dwellers at 12pm next Tuesday while they play Henderson Eels on Friday.

Meanwhile, Vodafone Ba soccer team will play their first O-League match against Auckland City on the 2nd of next month in Tahiti.
