Kolinisau will consider U18 Dean players for the 7s program if they prove their worth in training

Fiji 7s Coach Osea Kolinisau says he will consider taking players from the under-18 Deans to the World 7s Series if they prove their worth in training.

He says he has seen the potential in the under-18 category, and Fiji is indeed blessed to have so much talent and depth, so they are working with the rugby house to provide a pathway for these players.

Kolinisau also thanked the FRU administration for having faith in him to take the boys to the next Olympic games.

Kolinisau says he is aware of the mammoth task at hand, and he will exhaust all means possible to take the best players during the World 7s tournaments and the ultimate Olympic games in America.

The HSBC SVNS 2024/2025 Series will kick off at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai on 30th November and 1st December.

The second tournament will be the Cape Town 7s and will be held on the 7th and 8th of December, followed by the Perth 7s in Australia from the 24th to the 26th of January 2025.

The competition will then move to Canada for the Vancouver 7s from the 21st to the 23rd of February 2025, while the Hong Kong 7s will take place from the 28th to the 30th of March.

The remaining HSBC SVNS 2025 events, including the Grand Final, will be confirmed in due course.
