Kavanagasau Sanatan Dharam School, a primary school almost 25km inland from Sigatoka Town has achieved a 100 percent pass rate in the Fiji Eighth Year Examination.

Head of school, Jitendra Kumar says he is happy and is very much pleased with the results the students have achieved as they had also achieved 100 percent pass rate in the 2022 Fiji Eighth Year Examination.

He says the school has achieved this through dedication from all the teachers and parents working together while the school had recently received IT support from the Tappoo Foundation which was a great help in teaching and learning.

Kumar says a hardworking student, Lice Vuliasi had scored the highest mark and is from the Kavanagasau settlement.

He says the school will keep working hard as they need good support from the parents.

The Head of School says the school will look at all the weaknesses from 2023, work according to it and try to get quality marks this year again.
