Vodafone Fiji Bati captain and Melbourne Storm forward Tui Kamikamica has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee for a dangerous tackle in the Storm’s 34-30 win over the Sydney Roosters in round 21.
Kamikamica was cited for a Grade 1 crusher tackle on Roosters’ forward Siua Wong in the 29th minute of the match.
With no prior offences on his record, the Storm prop can accept a $1,500 fine with an early guilty plea or face a $2,000 fine if found guilty at a judiciary hearing.
No suspension will apply if the early plea is taken.
The Storm currently sit third on the NRL ladder with 32 points.
The Raiders lead the standings with 36 points, followed by the Bulldogs with 34.
