The Kadavu Women’s rugby team has created history after edging Nasinu 37-33 to claim their first-ever Pio Bosco title.
It was a thrilling contest, with the young Nasinu side quick to retain possession in both defence and attack, but they failed to turn most opportunities into points.
Kadavu kept their composure and stuck to the basics, which proved decisive in securing the victory.
Last week, Nasinu stunned defending champions Suva, but yesterday Kadavu went one better, etching their name into the Bosco Cup history books.
