Two-time world champion Anthony Joshua has revealed that losing to Otto Wallin in their upcoming bout this weekend will see him hang up his gloves.

Joshua says there is no future if he fails to beat Wallin on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua will be aiming to win his third fight of 2023 after already gaining victories over Jermaine Franklin Jr and Robert Helenius earlier in the year as he hopes to step back to the top of the heavyweight division.

Joshua has three career defeats to date, Andy Ruiz Jr inflicted his first loss in 2019 before Oleksandr Usyk beat him for the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles on two occasions.

The 34-year-old says he knows where he is going in his life but this fight against Wallin is a checkpoint and if he does not get past it, there is no future.

Joshua says his pure focus is on Saturday and that is with his heart, soul and every cell in his body.

He says he is looking to do a good job and he will want to see it through.

He adds he is here to fight and not party, and he wants to perform well and put that pressure on himself because he wants to win.

Joshua says he has that urge to win and wants to hurt his opponent as well.

Joshua will take on Wallin in the main bout of the Day of Reckoning boxing promotion in Saudi Arabia this Sunday.
