Police Commissioner Brigadier Sitiveni Qiliho has directed Internal Affairs to conduct a prompt investigation while the CID is also investigating the report of a police officer who allegedly assaulted his wife.
The incident was posted on the complainant’s Facebook account where she claims that she caught her husband who is a police officer in uniform cruising around in a police vehicle with another woman.
The video also shows the police officer coming off the vehicle and allegedly assaulting his wife when she tried to film him.
The woman also claims that this happened in front of other police officers in Lautoka.
