Hit and run driver in Nadi charged and to face court today

The driver alleged to have caused the death of a 61-year-old man in Navo, Malolo in Nadi, has been charged following a hit-and-run accident last weekend.

Police say the accused is charged with one count of Dangerous Driving Occasioning Death and one count of failing to stop.

The driver will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.
