Fiji’s welterweight boxing champion Winston Hill received a major boost to his preparation for his upcoming fight against Vanuatu's Roy Ser next month after Extra Supermarket announced their support towards Hill by sponsoring him.

While signing the sponsorship, Hill says he is honoured to have Extra Supermarket's support and it really means a lot to him.

He says he is now motivated to give his best performance for his family, supporters and his country.

Director of Extra Supermarket Abhishek Abhimannu says they believe in supporting local athletes and are confident that Hill will make Fiji proud.

Abhimannu says they are excited about this partnership with Hill as he embodies the spirit of determination and resilience, values that align perfectly with their brand.

Hill will take on Ser on the 10th of August in Labasa under the South Pacific Boxing Promotion program.
