A heavy rain warning remains in force for Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Kadavu, Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups.

A heavy rain alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

The Weather Office says this is due to an active trough of low pressure which remains slow moving over Viti Levu.

They say the low pressure system is expected to clear by tomorrow afternoon.

Some localised businesses likely to be affected, flash flooding of low lying areas, localised flooding of Irish Crossing and informal settlements with some disruption to traffic flow and poor visibility.

A flash flood warning remains in force for low lying areas, crossings and flood prone areas within the Nakauvadra, Penang, Nabuna Village Road Tavua, Yaladro Road Tavua, Nadarivatu Road Tavua, Balata Flat, Rukuruku Crossing Tavua, Naseyani Crossing Tavua, Kings Road Tavua Town End, Matawai Flats, Ba Rivers, Buabua Road Lautoka 1st Major Crossing, Vakabuli 1st Crossing, Drasa Dam Lautoka 1st Crossing, Vitogo and Tuva.

A flash flood alert remains in force for the low lying areas and flood prone areas of Kadavu and in the Interior and Western Parts of Viti Levu from Sigatoka to Rakiraki.
