A heavy rain warning is now in force for the entire Fiji group.
The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure, with associated cloud, showers, and rain, is expected to affect the group until later tomorrow.
People can expect flash flooding in flood-prone and low-lying informal settlements, communities, business areas, and Irish crossings, leading to traffic disruptions.
Surface flooding is also possible on streets in urban areas with poor drainage.
Driver are advised to expect wet roads and reduced visibility, especially during the heavy downpour, which increase the risk of road accidents.
