Flooding at Raiwaqa, Navua as at 7:30am today.

A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji and is expected to affect the country until the weekend.

People can expect rain, heavy at times and thunderstorms.

Localized heavy rainfall can lead to the flash flooding of low lying areas.

The Weather Office has also issued a flood warning for low lying areas and areas adjacent to the Nadi Town Bridge, Nayavu in Wainibuka, Navolau in Naitasiri and Korovou Town.

Meanwhile, the Qelekuro Road in Dawasamu is closed to all traffic.

According to Korovou Police Station, the Dawasamu River has burst its banks.
