South Africa’s Rugby World Cup winning fly-half Handre Pollard and former All Blacks, Charles Piutau have been revealed as the highest paid rugby players in the world.
According to Wales Online, both Pollard and Piutau earn $2.05m annually.
All Blacks star, Beauden Barrett is the only current All Black in the top 15 at 14th place who earns $1.06m.
Wallabies and Waratahs captain, Michael Hooper is the highest-ranked Super Rugby player on the list at number nine with reported earnings of $1.17m.
