Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama says as mentioned by the Supervisor of Elections, the green voter card needs to be upgraded to a blue voter card, which will require a birth certificate.

In a statement titled the Lalakai posted on the Fijian Government social media page, Bainimarama says according to the Electoral (Registration of Voters) Act, the Fijian Elections Office will only record the name that is on the birth certificate.
