Fans can expect a thriller in this week’s round of the Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby competition when Suva Grammar School take on defending Vodafone Deans trophy U18 champions Marist Brothers High School on Saturday.

This will be a repeat of last year’s Deans U18 grand final where Marist broke the hearts of Suva Grammar winning 9-8.

Suva Grammar will want to take revenge this time while Marist will be looking to redeem themselves this weekend after a shocking 30-10 loss to Nasinu Secondary School last week.

Suva Grammar’s Assistant Principal Emosi Kuli says the fierce rivalries between the two schools remains and nothing will change this weekend.

He says Marist beat them last year but they have stepped up their preparation this year and will want to avenge their loss.

Kuli adds Grammar is looking to go all the way this season and he is confident that the side will make another appearance in the Deans final this year.

In other Southern Zone U18 matches this week, Nasinu Secondary will face Gospel High, Dudley High School will take on Ratu Sukuna Memorial School, Latter Day Saints Church College will play Waidina Secondary School.

The venues of this week’s games will be confirmed later.
