Grammar kick off Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championship on a high with a 17-7 win over Tilak

As the Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championship continues in Lautoka today, the Suva Grammar School under 19 team is looking good after kicking off their campaign on a high with a 17-7 win over Tilak High School in the boys division.

In other under 19 boys results, John Wesley College beat Marist Brothers High School 30-13, International School Suva defeated Swami Vivekananda College 36-14, Gospel High School overcame Votualevu College 21-14, Yat Sen Secondary School thrashed Natabua High School 39-12 and Latter Day Saints College defeated Central College Lautoka 14-6.

In the girls' under 19 division, Grammar beat Saint Joseph’s Secondary School 28-12 while Natabua defeated SVC 38-10.

In the under 15 boys division, ISS demolished Natabua 34-0 and in the girls division, Grammar beat Natabua 36-6, Yat Sen Secondary beat Fiji Agape Mission 27-14, Saint Joseph’s beat Tilak 18-4.

In the under 17 boys division, Yat Sen thrashed International School Nadi 66-10, Marist beat Tilak 15-6, QVS beat Fiji Agape Mission 14-1 and SVC beat Natabua 33-6.

In the under 17 girls division, Saint Joseph’s beat SVC 38-10 and Yat Sen beat LDS 16-9.
