Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communication, Manoa Kamikamica

One of the strategies of the government in trying to rebuild Fiji for a digitised world in terms of economy is to move the nation into the 21st century which can be faster, easier and more convenient.

While speaking at the launching of the digital business cards Pacific Recycling Foundation, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communication, Manoa Kamikamica says people can experience faster and more efficient services not only in the private sector but more importantly in government.

Kamikamica says for the Ministry of Trade, they are going to push very hard for a sustained circular economy or the renewable economy and waste management economy in Fiji.

He says such advocacy requires the private sector because the government cannot do it alone.

Pacific Recycling Foundation CEO, Amitesh Deo says that the launching of their business card today is a plea to everyone that sustainability should not become a tick in the box.

Deo says their e-business card has been developed with their partners and their communications team on those small steps that they take towards sustainability to ensure that they are progressing.
