The All Blacks have received great news ahead of their 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter final match against world number 1 Ireland this weekend as injured prop Tyrel Lomax has been given the green light to play and would be up for selections.

Forwards coach Jason Ryan has revealed that Lomax has been running well during training and is surely ready for selections for this important match this Sunday.

Lomax strained the medial ligament in his right knee in their final pool match against Uruguay last week and was forced off only nine minutes into that game.

The tighthead prop was seen training with a heavily strapped knee but was moving freely and is looking fit to be considered in the match day squad.

The All Blacks are expected to name their squad tomorrow.

The All Blacks versus Ireland game will kick off at 7am this Sunday in Paris.

In other RWC quarter finals, Wales will play Argentina at 3am Sunday, the Flying Fijians will play England at 3am Monday and hosts France will take on the Springboks at 7am Monday.
