Glitz and glamour at Mindpearl Awards Night

It was glitz and glamour at the Mindpearl Awards Night where they celebrated not only their employees but the 15th anniversary of Mindpearl Fiji as well.

Mindpearl General Manager, Erik Van Duivenbode says they do this every year where they try and acknowledge the best agent or the best employees in their field.

He says he is happy with the turnout as more than 1,100 staff were present for the Awards Night.

Duivenbode also thanked the Total Event Company for organizing the event and says they did a good job and are always helping them out.

There were 15 categories up for grabs like Customer Service Agent of the Year, Team Leader of the Year, Manager of the Year, Sports Woman and Sports Man of the Year, with the overall winner getting Employee of the Year as well as some special recognition awards.

Dimitri Alexandre Bongmegal won Agent of the Year, Makereta Wati scooped Team Leader of the Year, Account Support of the Year went to Pauliasi Volau, Jack Edward Lanyon won Back-office support of the year, Manager of the Year went to Sandeshni Mala Kumar, Losana Moala Vakatawa walked away with Facilities Staff of the Year.

Canteen staff of the Year went to Setaita Uludole, winner for Operations of the Year was won by Filimone Betekula Tarai while Kamal Pillay scooped Driver of the Year.

There were also Best Dressed prizes which meant people came decked out in their amazing outfits.

Entertainment for the night was provided by Ratu, Billy T and the Gang or RBG as they are commonly known, and they had the crowd dancing the night away.
