A former Nasinu Secondary School U18 rugby player, who played against QVS in the final of the Vodafone Super Deans Competition in 2012, is determined that history will not repeat itself this Saturday.

Speaking to fijivillage News from New Zealand, Kaveni Dabenaise, who played inside centre in 2012, says back in 2012, they did not have a gym, and the team had to utilise a room in the Tovata dormitory for their sessions, using pieces of metal and bricks as equipment.

Dabenaise says the team's incredible fitness level contributed to their victory against Cuvu College, and he is impressed by the potential the team has and how well they played.

QVS will face Nasinu at the HFC Bank Stadium in the U18 final.

In other finals, Ratu Kadavulevu School will play MGM High School in the under-14 grade, Marist Brothers High School will take on Suva Grammar School in the under-15, Lelean Memorial School will play Suva Grammar in the under-16, and in the under-17, RKS will battle Marist.

Lami High School will face Queen Victoria School in the under-19 final.

In the Weet-Bix Raluve competition, Niusawa Secondary School will play Sigatoka Methodist College in the under-16 final, while Natabua High School will take on Adi Cakobau School in the under-18 final.
