Former Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flyhalf Teti Tela has congratulated young Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula for becoming the club’s new top points scorer.

Tela held the title of the Drua’s top points scorer with 124 points before departing the club after the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Armstrong now holds the title with 135 points following his 13-point haul against the Chiefs in the Drua’s 28-24 win in Lautoka over the weekend.

Tela says he has known Ravula and his family for a number of years now and he has had a special journey so far.

He says Ravula has been living away from his family for the last few years, and as tough as that would be, he is a very motivated player and his family would be very proud to see the sacrifices paid off and adds that the 21-year-old has got a long career ahead of him.

Tela says records are meant to be broken and he knows Ravula has got a few more milestones to tick off.

Meanwhile, the Drua will take on the Brumbies at 8.35pm this Friday in round 5 of the Super Rugby Pacific.

In other matches this weekend, the Highlanders will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Friday, the Crusaders will take on the Western Force at 3.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs will battle the Blues at 6.05pm Saturday, and the Reds will play the Waratahs at 8.35pm Saturday.
