Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Coach, Vern Cotter is now using all the time available due to COVID-19 restrictions to keep his children occupied and active by getting them to work on the farm.

Cotter says he has been enjoying farm life in New Zealand after spending 14 years in Europe.

The 58-year-old international coach says they had to leave France quickly to pick up his two eldest children from a boarding school in New Zealand before it closed.

Cotter adds that he spends most of his time with his family as they keep him entertained and having lived abroad for so long in different cultures, it is nice to have everyone together.

He says he misses game preparation and the competition, but it gives him time to focus on the Flying Fijians, get a plan in place and focus on getting better himself.
