They add that flash flooding may occur due to isolated heavy rain.

A Heavy Rain Warning also remains in force for the Northern and Eastern parts of the Fiji group.

Following recent heavy rain, several roads and crossings in the Northern Division have been flooded and are currently inaccessible.

The Fiji Roads Authority have urged all drivers and people to exercise caution while travelling.

Affected areas include Qelemumu Low Level Crossing (Qelemumu Road, Wainikoro), Narailagi Low Level Crossing (Narailagi Road, Seaqaqa), Konasami Low Level Crossing (Dreketilailai Road, Bulileka, Labasa), Zailav Low Level Crossing (Zailav Road, Batiri, Seaqaqa) and several other low-level crossings and roads in Labasa and Savusavu.

FRA says most of these areas are closed to traffic, while Nagigi Flat in Wainikoro Road, Labasa is accessible to 4WD and heavy vehicles only.

The Soasoa stretch remains open, though water levels are rising.

Drivers are advised to adhere to all traffic signs and management measures and maintain designated speed limits.

The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary.

The Colo Bridge in Seaqaqa is flooded, affecting people living in the Navudi, Navai, Vunivere and Rokosalate areas who use the bridge to access Labasa Town.

60-year-old Davendra Prasad informed fijivillage News that the bridge was under water around 7 this morning following heavy rain.

Meanwhile, a Flash Flood Warning remains in force for low-lying and flood-prone areas in Labasa and has now been expanded to include Wainikoro, Wailevu, Bucaisau, Nasekawa, and other southern low-lying coastal areas of Vanua Levu.

A Flash Flood Alert also remains active for eastern Viti Levu, from Navua to Nalawa in Ra, and across Vanua Levu.

The Nadi Weather Office has warned that flash flooding may be caused by isolated heavy rain. They added that an active trough of low pressure, associated with clouds, showers, and rain, will continue to affect the northern and eastern parts of the country until tomorrow.

The Weather Office says flooding is expected in drainages, small streams, low-water bridges, Irish crossings, roads and properties in low-lying areas.

A Heavy Rain Warning also remains in force for the northern and eastern parts of Fiji. Rain is expected to ease later today.
