The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side are through to the Olympics after beating PNG 54-0 in the Oceania Rugby Championship Olympic Qualifier women’s final.

The Fijiana put on a 7s masterclass as they ran in eight unanswered tries against their sisters from PNG.

Alowesi Nakoci and Reapi Uluinasau scored doubles while Ana Maria Naimasi, Raijieli Daveua, Ilisapeci Delaiwau and Maria Rokotuisiga scored a try each.

The Fijiana only conceded 5 points during the whole tournament.

Fijiana captain Ana maria Naimasi says they are grateful to the support they have been getting from the fans for the past three days.

In earlier games, the Fijiana thrashed American Samoa 68-0, thumped the Cook Islands 50-0 and decimated Tonga 40-5 in their pool games.

The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s side went down fighting 17-24 against New Zealand in their semi-final earlier this afternoon.
