The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side recorded their second loss of day 2 of the Fiji Airways Mini International 7s tournament leg 2 after falling 29-12 to Aussie Green at Churchill Park today.

Australia scored the first try of the match with a successful conversion in the 2nd minute of the game before Fiji replied with a converted try in the 4th minute to level the score at 7-all.

The Aussies scored two more tries with one conversion to extend their lead to 19-7 before Fiji pulled an unconverted try at the halftime hooter to reduce the deficit to 19-12.

Australia scored another two unconverted tries in the second half to extend their lead to 29-12.

Mistakes and handling errors proved too costly for the Fijiana side as they were denied any points in the second half as Australians defended their territory well.

Meanwhile, France proved too strong for Aussie Gold to win 38-12 earlier this afternoon.

USA is currently playing the Black Ferns.
