The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side gave away an early 10 point lead to lose 24-10 against a determined USA 7s team in their Fiji Airways Mini International 7s leg 2 round robin match at Churchill Park this morning.

The hosts scored two early tries in the opening 3 minutes of the game before the Eagles pulled one converted try back just before the break to trail 10-7.

The Eagles showed sheer determination in defence to prevent Fiji from scoring any points in the second half.

USA scored a further three tries with one conversion to secure the win.

France is currently playing the Black Ferns.
