The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s Development side defeated Samoa 14-5 to take home the Oceania 7s Women tournament in Honiara.
The ladies kept their discipline both in offense and defense, and were able to hold out the Samoan team after a few attempts to cross their line.
Fijiana Development thumped Tonga 36-5 to book a spot in the final.
The young development women’s team also proved that they have what it takes to compete in the HSBC SVNS 2024-2025 series.
