The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s side continues their preparation for the 2024 Super W Competition with the team having their first sand dunes session of the year.

In a video posted by the Fijian Drua, the team was seen toiling it hard on the famous training ground for Fiji Rugby, the Sand Dunes in Sigatoka.

The Drua Women will be looking to defend their Super W title again this year after creating history, winning the title in 2022 in their first-ever season and defending it last year.

With the departure of some experienced players, the side is looking to develop their new players and expose them to the international stage.

Some of the experienced players who will be leading the team this year include Asinate Serevi, Vani Va’aga Arei, Karalaini Naisewa and Keleni Marawa.

The side will kick off their 2024 Super W season against the Queensland Reds Women on the 17th of March in Queensland.

Meanwhile, the first round of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition will kick off this Friday.

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on the Blues at 3.35pm on Saturday in Auckland.
