Swire Shipping Fijian Drua head coach Mick Byrne has revealed that he and his coaching staff have a good feeling about the recently announced Fijian Drua squad for the 2024 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Byrne says knowing the capabilities of the players announced, the coaching staff will be having a hard time selecting their match day 23 squad which he says is something they really love.

He says having a squad that will give the coaching staff and selectors a hard time in selecting a match-day squad is a challenge that they want.

He adds it will also be exciting as the new players being announced will probably provide a challenge for the senior players in the team.

The Fijian Drua will kick off their 2024 Super Rugby Pacific campaign against the Blues on the 24th of February next year in Auckland.
