Fiji women’s side returns to Hong Kong after 2 decades

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s players return to the iconic So Kon Po Stadium after two decades as the last women’s 7s competition was held in Hong Kong in 2003.

Fiji had won the bowl final, defeating Hong Kong 34-12.

Coach Saiasi Fuli says playing in the Hong Kong 7s will be a great opportunity and experience for his players.

The Fijiana 7s will take on Ireland at 5.04pm tomorrow in their first match before playing Brazil at 9.04pm tomorrow in their second match.

They will meet Australia at 1.55pm Saturday in their final pool game.

The cup quarter-finals will start at 11.37pm Saturday, the semi-finals will begin at 6.43pm Sunday, and the final will be at 11.40pm Sunday.
