Fiji in tough pools for upcoming Vancouver 7s

The Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s and Fijiana 7s teams have both been drawn in tough pools for the 2024 Vancouver 7s after the completion of the Perth 7s last night.

The Fiji Men’s side is in Pool A after a 4th-place finish in Perth.

They are pooled alongside Argentina, Canada and Spain.

Australia heads Pool B with France, Samoa and the USA while Great Britain, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa make up Pool C.

In the women’s division, after an 8th place finish in Perth, the Fijiana 7s have been drawn in pool B alongside Australia, Japan and the USA.

In pool A, Brazil is pooled with Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.

Canada, France, Great Britain and Spain are in pool C.

The Vancouver 7s will be held from the 23rd - 25th of next month.

Meanwhile, Argentina took out the men’s title at Perth 7s after beating host Australia 31-5 while Ireland won the women’s title after a 19-14 win over Australia.
