The Fiji Women’s football side are raring to go as they look forward to taking on New Caledonia in the Pacific Games Women’s football competition semi final at 4pm today.

The Fiji Kulas booked their spot in the semi final after an impressive 4-1 win over the Solomon Islands last Friday.

Overseas-based player Trina Davis says discipline and teamwork are core principles that helped them secure their place in semi final.

Davis says they are taking their preparations to another level knowing New Caledonia will not be an easy side.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Men’s football side will face host Solomon Islands tomorrow in the semi final.

Fiji is currently in 5th place in the overall Pacific Games medal tally with 10 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze medals.

New Caledonia is leading with 54 gold, 37 silver and 34 bronze while Australia is in second place with 28 gold, 19 silver and 8 bronze.
