The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team have sent their well-wishes to the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team ahead of this weekend’s Oceania 7s Rugby Championship in Brisbane as they fight for a spot in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a video message from the team’s hotel in Brisbane, the Men’s side have urged their sisters to fight hard and lay their bodies on the line.

Captain Joseva Talacolo reminded the girls that their respective families are banking on them to make them and the nation proud.

He says if it takes them to fight to death on the ground, they should never back down and keep fighting for their country.

The Fijiana 7s side will kick off their Oceania 7s campaign against the Cook Islands at 3.06pm today before they take on Tonga at 7.08pm in their second pool match.

They will then American Samoa at 4.18pm in their final pool match.

The Women’s cup semi final will kick off at 2.44pm Sunday and the cup final will be at 6.24pm Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Men’s 7s side will take on Niue at 4.56pm Friday before playing New Zealand at 9.42pm in their second pool game.

They will then take on Oceania at 3.12pm Saturday and will wrap up their pool games against Australia at 4.52pm Saturday.

The Men’s placing finals will kick off at 3.28pm Sunday with the final kicking off at 5.18pm Sunday.
