Fiji Men’s 7s finishes 9th while Fijiana 7’s finishes 5th in Dubai

The Fiji Airways men’s National 7’s team finished 9th at the Dubai 7s after beating Uruguay 47-0 in the 9th place final.

After failing to secure their place in the cup quarter finals, they had to dig deep to beat Uganda 29-14 in the 9th place quarter final and Kenya 21-17 in the semi-final.

Meanwhile the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7’s team finished 5th in Dubai after beating Ireland in the 5th place final 28-12.

Fijiana bowed out of the cup competition losing to Australia 38-21 in the cup quarter final.
