The Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s side will take on France in the 3rd quarter final of the HSBC Dubai 7s at 7.32 tonight after securing 3 wins out of 3 games and topping their pool following the conclusion of day 1 of the competition this morning.

Fiji defeated Spain 21-15 in their first pool match before thrashing the USA 42-20 in their second pool match and then defeating NZ 21-12 in their final pool match.

In other men’s quarter finals today, Great Britain will take on Spain in the first quarter final at 6.48pm, South Africa will take on NZ at 7.10pm and Argentina will take on Australia at 7.54pm.

The men’s cup semi finals will kick off at 10.06 tonight and the cup final will be at 4.11am tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side will take on China in the 9th place playoff at 9 tonight.

In the women’s quarter finals today, Great Britain will take on Japan at 5.20pm, Australia will play Canada at 5.42pm, NZ will play Ireland at 6.04pm and the USA will play France at 6.26pm.

The women’s cup semi final will kick off at 9.12 tonight and the cup final will be at 3.35am tomorrow.
