Fiji Amateur Boxing Association confirms Army boxing team as the overall winners of Sukuna Bowl Competition

Fiji Amateur Boxing Association confirms Army boxing team as the overall winners of Sukuna Bowl Competition

The Fiji Amateur Boxing Association has officially confirmed the Army boxing team as the overall winners of the 2025 Sukuna Bowl Boxing Competition, following the release of the certified medal tally.

FABA says earlier confusion arose from a premature and unofficial announcement made by an individual who is not affiliated with the organisation.

The announcement was released before the final count was completed, causing uncertainty about the overall winner.

According to the verified results, they say that Army and Police were evenly matched in the gold and silver medal categories, with each side winning four gold medals and four silver medals.

However, they add that Army delivered a stronger performance in the bronze medal division, securing 10 bronze medals compared to Police’s 5.

This brought the final medal tally for Army with 18 medals and Police with 13, confirming Army as the 2025 Sukuna Bowl Boxing champions.
