Fiji Rugby Union CEO, John O’Connor says the 7s players are safe and have been cleared from isolation by the Ministry of Health with no players so far showing any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.

O’Connor says the players also did not return home via the San Francisco flight.

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team’s self-isolation period ended on Wednesday.

This was done after they received news that the results of the two Australian 7s players who were being tested for COVID-19 came back negative.
