FRU to reveal the next wave of players for the Drua today

The Fiji Rugby Union will be revealing the next wave of players who will represent the Fijian Drua in next year’s Super Rugby Pacific today.

The Drua will be taking around 34 players for the competition.

Fijian Drua Interim CEO, Brian Thorburn says they are aiming to start training in Australia by 1st November, where they will be based for their inaugural Super Rugby Pacific campaign.

Some of the players which have already been confirmed include Olympic gold medalists Napolioni Bolaca and Meli Derenalagi, Flying Fijians halfback Serupepeli Vularika, lock Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta, winger Onisi Ratave, loose forward Nemani Nagusa and rising star halfback Simione Kuruvoli.

Super Rugby Pacific will kick off on 18th February next year.
