The Fiji Rugby Union will be re-looking at the systems and protocols for women’s rugby competitions following the death of a 19-year-old female rugby player in Nadroga last week.

FRU Chairman, Commodore Humphrey Tawake has passed his condolences to the family of the late Monika Koroidrekelevu who had allegedly sustained a spinal injury from a rugby match played in June.

He confirms that there is no insurance cover for players competing in the Skipper and Marama competitions.
