Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem

The Fijian Elections today launched the 2022 Election Visitor Program and has opened participants to send in their expressions of interest from eligible voters to participate in this program.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says the visitor program is an opportunity for the FEO to allow selected people from all divisions to witness and experience the electoral processes that function on Election Day.

Saneem adds that it will also provide a ‘front row seat’ experience to the innovative approaches the FEO has worked tirelessly to perfect for the conduct of the upcoming General Election.

The FEO will host 20 participants for the program where participants must be a registered voter in Fiji, agree to vote via postal voting and be available two days before and after election day.

Saneem also says that members of the Election Disability Access Working Group, heads of Civil Society Organisations and Community / School Election Advocates are encouraged to submit their expression of interests.

He adds that the FEO will ensure that they successfully vote via postal voting, and cater for all transportation, accommodation and meals for the duration of the Election Visitor Program.

EOI are to be addressed to the Supervisor of Elections via email to evp@feo.org

The applications will be closed by 3pm October 31st.
