Expect an exciting match-up this week in the U18 semi finals of the Vodafone Deans Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Competition as Suva Grammar School, MGM High School, Marist Brothers High School and Nasinu Secondary School will battle for a spot in the national finals.

Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Committee President Rusiate Wadali says at the moment, they cannot confirm the dominating team in the U18 grade because all four teams are vying for a place in the national quarter finals.

He says there were also some upsets last week, with Suva Grammar School U17 losing to Nabua Secondary School and Nasinu Secondary School U15 side not making it to the semi finals.

Wadali says the shifting of their competition from the school grounds to Bidesi and Buckhurst Park really boosted the performance of some teams this year.

The semi finals of the Southern Zone competition will be held at Bidesi and Buckhurst Park this Saturday.
