Eight teams confirmed for Marist 7s U21 quarter finals

Eight teams have confirmed their spots in the 49th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s U21s quarterfinals that will be held tomorrow with a few surprises coming through following the elimination rounds.

The eight teams include Village Boys, Raddison Naduruniu, Aflame Brothers, Navakawau, FSC Grassroot, DHL Raiwaqa, Cautata Eagles and Aqua Pro Savuqali.

Village Boys will face Raddison Naduruniu in the first quarter final, and Aflame Brothers will face Navakawau in the second quarter final.

In the 3rd quarter final, FSC Grassroot will play DHL Raiwaqa while Cautata Eagles will face Aqua Pro Savuqali in the last quarter final.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s U18-U21 quarter final will kick start at 7.45am.

Meanwhile, Navy Women scooped the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Women’s title after defeating Seahawks 19-14.

The Men’s main elimination is expected to kick off at 7.30am tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium.
