The Fiji Airways Men's National 7s halfback Terio Tamani scored a hatrick to help Fiji secure a 40-5 win over France in their second match of the Dubai 7s.

The French side started well scoring the first try in the 2nd minute through Stephen Parez Edo with the conversion missing to take a 5-0 lead.

Fiji found their feet and came back stronger scoring three converted tries to captain Joseva Talacolo, Terio Veilawa and Pilipo Bukayaro to take a 21-5 lead which was the score at halftime.

Fiji put on the accelerator in the second half scoring three more tries through Veilawa who scored two tries and Rubeni Kabu.

Fiji had a more disciplined defence later in the game that stopped France from scoring anymore points.
