Drua looking to set across the field early in the game against the Waratahs

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will be looking to set across the field early in the game and be able to play on both sides of the ruck when they play the Waratahs this weekend in Lautoka in round 5 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

According to coach Mick Byrne, they need to get back in line as quickly as they can, reset early and ask the Waratahs to make a lot of tackles.

Byrne says when they look at the game, they have got some strategies around how they can sharpen their attack.

He says the biggest one for them is to get back and set early across the field and ask plenty of questions.

Byrne says he knows that is where they play their best and that is what they are setting out to do.

Meanwhile, it will be a doubleheader this weekend in Lautoka as the Fijian Drua Men will take on the Waratahs at 1.05pm and the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women will play the Waratahs at 3.35pm in round 2 of the Super Rugby Women’s competition.

In other Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific matches this weekend, the Hurricanes will host the Rebels at 6.05pm Friday, the Brumbies will take on Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm Friday, the Chiefs will take on the Highlanders at 3.35pm Saturday, the Blues will play the Crusaders at 6.05pm Saturday and Western Force will take on the Reds at 8.35pm Saturday.
