Drua Women looking to reclaim Super Rugby W title

The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s side is looking to take back the titles they won in 2022 and 2023 as they prepare for the start of the Super Rugby W competition next month.

The Drua Women’s team made headlines as they won the Super Rugby W title back to back in 2022 and 2023.

Coach Ifereimi Tawake says the aim for this year is to win back their title.

He says this will bring back a sense of pride into the Drua Club.

Last year, the Drua Women’s side won three of their round-robin matches and made it to the final, where they lost to the NSW Waratahs 50-14 in the final.

Meanwhile, the Drua Women’s side will face the Waratahs on the 28th of next month in their first 2025 Super Rugby W match.
