Rugby fans in Suva will be treated to an afternoon of thrilling rugby matches next Saturday as there will be a double header match with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua taking on the Reds in round 12 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific followed by the Vodafone Fijiana XVs taking on the Wallaroos at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.

The official announcement of the doubleheader was made today at the Fijian Drua Headquarters in Legalega Nadi with the presence of Drua General Manager Commercial Shane Hussein and Fiji Rugby Women’s High-Performance Manager Alana Thomas.

Hussein says they are very excited about this doubleheader and it is double the value, so two high-quality matches for the price of one.

He says ticket prices start from $25 on the Grass Embankment moving up to $40 on the Concrete and from $75 and up on the main stands.

He adds that it will be a fantastic atmosphere on matchday, with heaps of activations, engagement, entertainment and giveaways for fans.

While commending their opportunity to test themselves against the Wallaroos, Fiji Rugby Women’s High-Performance Manager Alana Thomas says this test is another momentous occasion as it is their 42nd test and 12th test on home soil.

Thomas says she thinks it is a good opportunity for them to start this year’s campaign strongly, especially with the Women’s Rugby World Cup coming up.

The Fijian Drua will take on Queensland Reds at 2.05pm before the Vodafone Fijiana 15s go head-to-head with the Wallaroos at 5pm.
