Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and Fiji Water Flying Fijians reps Mesake Doge and Mesake Vocevoce have been selected into the 26-member First Nations & Pasifika XV that is preparing to play the British and Irish Lions next Tuesday in Sydney.
Doge, a tighthead prop, and Vocevoce, a lock forward, were part of the Flying Fijians side that defeated Scotland 29-14 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva over the weekend.
The two players will be joined by two other players with links to Fiji, Seru Uru and Issak Fines-Leleiwasa.
The First Nations & Pasifika XV include some top Pacifica players with the likes of Pete Samu, Rob Leota, Kurtley Beale, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, and Darcy Swain.
Former Flying Fijians coach Simon Raiwalui is one of the four Assistant Coaches alongside Glen Ella, Tana Umaga and Sekeope Kepu, while former Tongan coach Toutai Kefu will be the head coach.
The First Nations & Pasifika XV include Richie Asiata, George Blake, Mesake Doge, Feao Fotuaika, Charlie Gamble, Lington Ieli, Rob Leota, Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Marley Pearce, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Pete Samu, Darcy Swain, Tuaina Taii Tualima, Seru Uru, Mesake Vocevoce, Kurtley Beale, Jack Debreczeni, David Feliuai, Issak Fines-Leleiwasa, Lalakai Foketi, Harrison Goddard, Isaac Henry, Jarrah Muirhead, Kye Oates, Triston Reilly, and Kalani Thomas.
The First Nations & Pasifika XV will take on the Lions at 10pm next Tuesday at Marvel Stadium in Sydney.
