Derenalagi back as captain as strong side named to take on the Force

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua side has just been named to take on the Western Force in their Shop N Save round 12 Super Rugby Pacific match with Meli Derenalagi back as captain while Eroni Sau and Jone Koroiduadua also makes the run on team.

This week’s front row sees Haereiti Hetet at loose-head prop with Jone Koroi starting at tight-head alongside hooker Tevita Ikanivere.

In the second row, Isoa Nasilasila partners with Te Ahiriwaru Cirikidaveta, while Joseva Tamani reverts to blindside flanker, and Vilive Miramira moving to the open-side.

Derenalagi starts at number 8 this weekend.

Frank Lomani starts at halfback with Teti Tela at flyhalf.

Taniela Rakuro retains his position on the left-wing, pairing with Eroni Sau, while the dynamic centre combination of Kalaveti Ravouvou and Iosefo Masi has also been retained with Ilaisa Droasese starting at fullback.

A few changes to the bench this week sees Togiatama named as cover for hooker, Livai Natave covering loose-head while Jone Tiko is replacement tighthead prop.

Etonia Waqa remains as second row cover and Elia Canakaivata will cover for the backrow while Peni Matawalu is replacement halfback.

Caleb Muntz returns from an 8-week injury layoff as cover for the inside halves and Tuidraki Samusamuvodre completes the match day 23 as cover for the outside backs.

The Drua will meet the Force at 9.35pm Friday.
