Christmas came early for the members of the Delaikamali Youth Club in Cakaudrove after receiving the items they had been wanting to assist them in their fishing business.

The youth club which is made up of 21 members received a solar freezer, solar panel, cell battery and other necessities needed for their fishing business.

Youth Club President Viliame Misianini says they are grateful to finally receive the assistance they had initially sought from other organisations.

While handing out the items, the Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Bala says the assistance provided would boost their existing business.

He also confirmed that they have received the request from the club about a new boat and they will be delivering it by the end of this year or the first quarter of next year.
